Dear Friends near & far, old & new -

Peering out over and beyond Precita Eyes' multi-storied Si Se Puede mural at Cesar Chavez Elementary, and overlooking the heart of the Mission from my 4th floor balcony and on into Noe  Valley (that's "no 'e' valley" for you outta towners) and up Twin Peaks, I let the cooling moist damp and dissipating fog moisturize my dry itchy skin.

It's been a long, long day copy editing and repaginating this site, but a very rewarding one too.  It's so great to watch the West end of the City embalmed in fog while we Missionites soak up the Sun-Francisco-shine, fine example of peninsular microclimates.

Even after the dotcomer exodus, the pulsing warm eclectic polyrhythm continues to permeate this pluralistic micro-culture, and it is with a keen eye to disclosing the obvious and subtle nuances of this Renaissance with your presence here in the Heart of the Mission that I welcome you!
