Our Mission at Heart

Mision de San Francisco de Asis:  Padre e Higo

The Mission District of San Francisco is named and derives its essence from el Mision de San Francisco de Asis, now more popularly known as 'Mission Dolores', and is located at 16th and Dolores streets in the Heart of San Francisco.

Today, bordered by Division street on the North, Cesar Chavez to the South, Portrero on the East, and Dolores to the West, the Mission is now a burgeoning-insular & mostly sunny minitropolis; not only with a strong Hispanic presence, but also with an incredibly diverse multicultural population - una verdadera olla revuelta, that is, a true melting pot!

This site is designed to get the word out about your Renaissance here in the Mission, and to that end I have devised a tri-media campaign.  With Press Release, Newsletter & Flyer marketing segments voicing your presence, 'Heart of the Mission' serves individuals, and small to medium size businesses with campaigning your 'howl' in a very cost effective way.

• Press Releases gives a new & growing business just the right touch of internet presence necessary for keeping locals and 'outta towners' up to date, and without the expensive cost and maintenance fees inherent in publishing a full blown web site!
• Flyers on the other hand are a quick & effective way of targeting your market locally for pressing short term events.
• And last but not least, send me a brief (150 words) well written mini-release, or update about your business venture or upcoming event, and I shall work it into Heart of the Mission's monthly Newsletter.

From within the immeasurable silence of the Yoga Society's meditative Vedic Chants, sitar ragas & tabla polyrhythm, and syncopated to the Mission Cultural Center's Cuban conga's Salsa, and resounding into the mystical Sufi Tabala Wolof,  I begin and dedicate this site to my wonderful and inspiring  friend, mon cher ami, Marco and his Baobabs, mythic communal transplants from deep within the Sine Saloum plains and jungles of Senegal...the beat moves on and on from within & back into the Heart of the Mission.
